SUMMARY:Mindful Menopause Workshop & Yoga
DESCRIPTION:Mindful Menopause Rites of passage celebrate the social movement of individuals into or out of statuses of critical importance to the individual and to the community. Perimenopause and Menopause is a rite of passage that can be shared with other women to provide support shared experiences. Perimenopause and menopause often include hot flashes\, disrupted sleep patterns\, irregular periods\, mood changes\, joint pain\, and many other symptoms that can interfere with a woman’s quality of life.\n\nYoga has many benefits that can assist women during this rite of passage. This workshop will provide an overview of the many symptoms that can create discomfort in our bodies and minds and an opportunity to reflect on your own journey. We will explore\na mindful yoga practice in a community of women traveling the journey along side you. Whether you are considering adding yoga to your practice or are a seasoned yogi\, this workshop is for you!\n\nA 4-week series will follow the workshop to assist women in creating a menopause practice. This series is meant to support your well-being during this rite of passage. We will focus on the power of your breath\, mindful meditation\, mindful movement and a relaxing savasana.\n\nCome together with other women in a shared community celebrating the journey of our changing bodies. Its shimmering tones create an atmosphere of transcendence and inner clarity\, clearing stagnant emotions and realigning your body’s natural energy flow. \nImmerse yourself in waves of soothing\, celestial sound with crystal singing bowls. Each pure tone harmonizes the mind\, body\, and spirit\, promoting deep relaxation\, emotional release\, and energetic realignment. Experience the expansive\, resonant tones of the chau gong as they wash over you like ocean waves\, dissolving stress and tension. \nConclude with the delicate and enchanting sounds of koshi chimes as their gentle melodies dance through the air\, lifting your spirit and inviting deep peace and childlike wonder. \nDress comfortably and bring blankets\, pillows\, eye masks\, and any additional items of comfort.
