Details:
Our goal with offering low cost yoga and meditation is for as many different people to enjoy the benefits of these classes as possible. With that in mind, we ask that you book no more than 3 classes at the boathouse and 3 meditation classes at Simpson Lake in one calendar year.
The expected class duration is 90 minutes total. This includes 60 minutes of yoga or meditation and 15 minutes before and after class to set up, paddle to and from the class location, and put away boards.
Please arrive a few minutes before the start of class to check-in, get situated and store your belongings. Check-in at the rental counter located to the right inside the courtyard at the Boathouse.
No late entry. Students arriving 15 minutes after the start time will not be allowed to participate in the class.
Please return to the dock directly after class.
Boards or kayaks (for meditation classes only), paddles, life jackets, and anchors are provided. BYO props.
We recommend storing most of your personal belongings in your car. We’re happy to hold keys and other items in the office during class. There are no lockers on site.
Sunset SUP Vinyasa with Bek Lokey
A steady, strength-based practice designed to build stability, control, and awareness—on the water and within.
This alignment-focused SUP yoga class emphasizes clear movement patterns and functional strength. With the added challenge of an unstable surface, each pose invites deeper attention to breath, core engagement, and balance. Movements are purposeful and steady, allowing space to refine form and move with intention.
Expect a strong, focused practice that supports both resilience and presence—an opportunity to meet yourself exactly where you are, surrounded by the elements.
Morning Vinyasa Yoga with Amy Rocca
Join us for vinyasa style paddle board yoga on the serene waters of Post Dispatch Lake in beautiful Forest Park. Enhance your balance, strength, and mindfulness while surrounded by the natural beauty of one of St. Louis’ most picturesque locations. Equal parts challenging and relaxing, this class will leave you feeling centered and accomplished.
Sunset SUP Centering with Ally Landwehr
A calming, centered practice designed to nurture balance, ease, and connection to the present moment.
This restorative SUP yoga class encourages slow, mindful movement that focuses on alignment, breath, and relaxation. With the gentle sway of the board beneath you, you’ll move through a series of soothing poses that ground and open the body, creating space for release and restoration.
The water serves as a natural catalyst for relaxation, inviting you to let go of tension and find fluidity in each movement. Whether you’re new to the practice or a seasoned yogi, this class offers a peaceful space to reconnect with your body, find stillness, and restore your energy.
Gentle Flow with Amy Rocca
Experience the calming waters and the natural beauty of Forest Park in this gentle flow class that includes meditation, breath work and stretching. This session designed to rejuvenate your mind, body, and spirit and is perfect for all levels, including beginners. It primarily involves seated or lying down positions to ensure maximum relaxation and comfort.
