Pop Up: Yogalates

$30Yogalates is a low-impact, full-body workout that incorporates a fusion of traditional Pilates exercises with yoga movements and continuous flow using both cardio-respiratory and resistance training exercises that emphasize strength, flexibility, stability and endurance. You will get a workout that targets all major muscle groups while maintaining a strong focus on the core and balance. This class offers multiple levels of intensity and various modifications as you move through the sequences to a stronger, more balanced and fitter self. The exercise progressions and options make it suitable for people of all fitness levels, from beginners to experienced practitioners. Please bring a mat.
About Your Instructor:
Emily Buxbaum is an AFAA certified group fitness instructor with over 15 years of experience teaching to groups of all sizes in large fitness centers, small intimate studios and everything in between. Emily has completed additional trainings and holds specialty certifications in group resistance training, HIIT, kickboxing, Pilates, barre, and step aerobics. She has taught multiple styles of exercise classes, including high intensity interval training (HIIT), weights and resistance training classes, pilates/Piloga and fusion formats to participants of all ages and levels of experience. Emily prides herself on building a class that appeals to many levels and provides options for veteran fitness enthusiasts and those new to the world of group exercise alike, so that all can be inspired to find joyful movement that improves their minds, bodies and health.
