Stillness as Strength: Discipline is a 90-minute restorative yoga workshop designed to support deep rest, reflection, and nervous-system regulation.
This session explores the theme of Discipline through fully supported restorative postures, guided breathwork, and gentle reflection. The practice invites students to slow down, soften physical tension, and reconnect with a sense of steadiness and ease—both on and off the mat.
Inspired by Stoic philosophy and offered in an accessible, non-academic way, this workshop is suitable for all levels and all bodies. Each session in the Stillness as Strength series stands alone and may be taken independently.
Led by Jennifer Ice, who teaches restorative yoga at Urban Breath and Classical Greek and Latin at a local high school.
