Mindful Menopause Workshop & Yoga

Mindful Menopause Rites of passage celebrate the social movement of individuals into or out of statuses of critical importance to the individual and to the community. Perimenopause and Menopause is a rite of passage that can be shared with other women to provide support shared experiences. Perimenopause and menopause often include hot flashes, disrupted sleep patterns, irregular periods, mood changes, joint pain, and many other symptoms that can interfere with a woman’s quality of life.
Yoga has many benefits that can assist women during this rite of passage. This workshop will provide an overview of the many symptoms that can create discomfort in our bodies and minds and an opportunity to reflect on your own journey. We will explore
a mindful yoga practice in a community of women traveling the journey along side you. Whether you are considering adding yoga to your practice or are a seasoned yogi, this workshop is for you!
A 4-week series will follow the workshop to assist women in creating a menopause practice. This series is meant to support your well-being during this rite of passage. We will focus on the power of your breath, mindful meditation, mindful movement and a relaxing savasana.
Come together with other women in a shared community celebrating the journey of our changing bodies. Led by Lynn Barts, MA, 200 hr. RYT and Menopause Advocate!
