Located at Winchester Plaza off Manchester Road, the new spot brings the same bold, flavorful Indian cuisine to West County with a fresh, modern twist for local diners. Opened in early 2026, this brand-new location is run by the same six partners as the original location and continues Persis’s mission of sharing authentic Indian flavors right here in St. Louis.

Persis is Now Open in Ballwin – A Fresh Look & Luxe Dining Vibe

From the moment you walk in, the Ballwin location stands out. Tucked into a corner of Winchester Plaza, the space was formerly a Minerva restaurant but has undergone a major renovation to become a warm, inviting setting for lunch and dinner.

Inside you’ll find clean, modern design with luxe orange booths, sleek tables, and eye-catching gold accents from the silverware to ceiling frames. The vibe is bright and polished — perfect for date night, family dinners, or a flavorful lunch break.

This is the kind of place you could eat at over and over and try something new every time. On a recent visit, we savored a variety of Persis dishes — and every bite was packed with flavor and texture. Appetizers & Starters

• 555 Baby Corn – Chopped baby corn tempura tossed in a creamy, spicy orange sauce and topped with fresh herbs
• Chicken Lollipop – A fun-to-eat splayed chicken wing marinated in mild Indian spices and served with a green dipping sauce that’s sure to please kids & adults.

Tandoori & Entrees

• Kakinada Tandoori Chepa – A whole Pampano fish rubbed with chili and herbs, roasted to tender, flaky perfection. This was so light & flavorful and balanced out some of the heavier, dishes we enjoyed.
• Mughali Malai Kofta – My new favorite vegetarian dish! Soft & satisfying kofta balls made from cashew, potato, paneer, and minced veggies drenched in a cream, rich, yellow curry sauce.

Breads & Sides

• Fresh Garlic Naan – Pulled straight from the tandoor, warm and flavorful — a must with curries.

Sweet Finish

• South Indian Filtered Coffee – Made with whole milk cream and sugar; warm, rich, and the perfect end to the meal.

Every dish delivered big on authentic Indian flavors — and we left with delicious leftovers we can’t wait to finish!

Ballwin Location vs. O’Fallon

While both locations showcase classic Indian favorites, a few notable differences:

• The Ballwin location has a refined dine-in environment for lunch & dinner only. No buffet is offered here and the dishes are even more power-packed with Indian spices.
• The original O’Fallon restaurant offers dosas and South Indian cuisine among its extensive menu options and is also open for breakfast. There is a large events space next door used for special events and large parties.

Both locations are great choices, just tailored to slightly different experiences.
