From neighborhood coffee walks and stroller-friendly meetups to wellness hikes and inclusive community gatherings, there’s a walking group for nearly every stage of life and interest.

Outdoor Walking Groups
Living Well STL – This women’s coffee & walk group is hosted by Kate Buer, a personal trainer, group fitness instructor. Each month, the walks take off from a different coffee shop where you can fuel up and then stroll.
Rainbow Fit Club – This group leads Saturday AM & Tuesday evening walks with the goal of building queer community and intentional connection. Created for members of the LGTBQIA community and friends. Family-friendly & come as you are. Walks are in Tower Grove Park. Join their Meetup group for all the details.
STL Wellness Collective – Led by @danyellestl this group hosts monthly walks/hikes at parks across the STL area and is geared for locals looking to connect with their bodies, nature and themselves. Join the facebook group for all the details including date, time, locations.
KINNECT Collective – Led by Sydney Walker, this women’s walking/running group meets the 2nd Saturday of the month at 9:30am at Creve Coeur lake for a 4 mile loop. Stick around for a yoga cooldown, led by Sydney on the sand volleyball courts.

Fit4Mom St Charles offers outdoor stroller friendly workouts for moms with young children & babies. Each 45 or 60 minute class will leave you feeling strong, empowered, connected, and energized—no matter your stage of motherhood. Bring a yoga mat, your stroller or baby carrier, sunscreen & toys or snacks for your little. They also offer playgroups and community for moms in this stage. You can find their classes multiple times each week at McNair Park, Scott A Lewis Park, and Frontier Park. They also offer monthly pop ups at Chicken N Pickle.
The Mom Walk Co St Louis is a stroller friendly walking group that gathers at various parks across St Louis County to walk, chat, create new friendships & build community! Walks are typically 2x a month with playdates and other events sprinkled in between.
STL Mom Club offers free monthly or bimonthly walks to bring moms together across St Louis & St Charles County for walks, friendship and community events. Be sure to join the private Facebook group for all the details!
Explore STL Parks offers a free weekly kid-friendly hike and playgroup on Wednesdays at 9:30am. This group loves to explore nature all over the St Louis area and offers relaxed, go at your own pace hikes. They also sometimes offer weekend hikes as well. Daddy Stroller Social Club STL – The community group aims to create community amongst dads & father figures of all stages thru walks & real conversations. They also aim to bring awareness to postpartum depression in dads and foster an intentional brotherhood.
Happy’s Running Club – Join this weekly run & walk club every Tuesday at 6pm at City Park Grill in St. Louis, MO. Join the crew and get perks like gear discounts, crew t-shirt, beer specials and more.

One of the things I love most about these groups is that they prove fitness doesn’t have to be intense to be meaningful. Sometimes the best way to care for your body is to slow down, get outside and spend time with people who make movement feel fun.
